Partner Highlight: Covenant

Our partners are an important part of helping us welcome international friends to Bowling Green, Ohio. One of our partners, Covenant Church, began as a small group of students in 1971. They prayed together and studied the Bible. As the size of their group grew, they established a church. Their website says their purpose is to do four things: share the gospel (good news about Jesus), cultivate worship, create community, and live on mission.

In addition to supporting Global Connections, Covenant also supports BG Christian Academy, Open Homes, Campus Outreach, the Daughter Project, and the Pregnancy Center.

They meet for worship each Sunday morning at 10 am at 1165 Haskins Rd., Bowling Green, OH, 43402. You’re invited to observe or participate.

Many international friends will recognize the names of people from Covenant Church, such as Kris Eridon (who frequently hosts movie nights and offers airport transportation) and Wendy Jenkins (who hosts quilting classes and provides childcare for the Wednesday English classes). Along with these two, the people of Covenant Church work together annually to provide a Thanksgiving Feast for international friends.

Let’s thank Covenant for their partnership with Global Connections!
