Partner Highlight: Alliance

The Bowling Green Christian Missionary Alliance Church, known as the Alliance, is one of the partners of Global Connections. They host our weekly English classes, help provide transportation to a number of our events (including shopping trips), donate furniture and household items, and sponsor an annual Barn Dance with music, food, dancing, and games.

The Alliance Church strives to promote a family atmosphere by sharing the joys and sorrows of life together. Community members are invited to connect with the church at 1161 Napoleon Rd through Sunday morning worship at 10:00 am. Their website is http://www.bgalliance.org.

Pastor Dennis Gugger came to Alliance in 2009. The church also employs a Children’s Minister, Lisa Herr, and a youth director, Melissa Day.

The Alliance constructed a new building in late 2017, including a large space for meetings and children’s activities. They celebrated their 100-year anniversary in 2015.
