Full Listing and Description of Services:
The Community English Class is a free conversational English class open to all non-native English speakers. We integrate activities focusing on all four skills—reading, writing, speaking and listening—giving special emphasis on conversation skills by providing guided opportunities to connect with other students in the class as well as the teachers.
The Community English Class meets on Wednesdays from 10-1130am at 612 E Wooster Street. You may come any time and participate as often as you wish. No childcare is provided. Contact Michelle Williams at michelle@actoday.org for more information.
From September – May each year, we are happy to give away furniture that community members have donated. If you have a need of furniture or a furniture item, please contact Ryan Kozey at ryan.kozey@gmail.com.
Throughout the year, we try to accumulate a decent stock of bicycles as well. If you are in need of bicycle, please contact Ryan Kozey at ryan.kozey@gmail.com.
We are happy to help out with transportation requests of Internationals currently living in the area or attending BGSU. We are unable to accommodate new students coming to BGSU for liability reasons. All incoming International students need to contact BGSU’s International Student Services to arrange for airport pick-up at iss@bgsu.edu.
