GC’s Next Summer Field Trip – Grand Rapids, OH

Join us on Saturday, 6/7 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm as we take a ride on an authentic 1870’s mule-drawn canal boat down the Miami & Erie Canal and go through one of the original canal locks.  We’ll also tour the Isaac Ludwig Mill, a water-powered mill originally constructed to keep the canal filled with water.  Afterwards, we’ll spend time exploring the quaint downtown of Grand Rapids and end our afternoon with ice cream at Rita’s Dairy Barn.  Bring a picnic lunch.  Ticket prices for the canal boat/Mill are the following:  $6 for adults; $5 for senior adults (ages 60 or above); $4 for children (ages 3-12); free for children age 2 and under.  For more details or to sign up, contact Mallory at mjames@globalconnectionsbg.org.
